I will never take my automobile anywhere else. Bothwell Automotive at 20730 Earl Street in Torrance is one of the most honest automotive centers I’ve ever been to. Their team is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely concerned about your situation. They explain everything clearly without ever pushing unnecessary repairs. Their integrity and customer-first approach make them stand out in the best way possible. I wouldn’t trust my car with anyone else. Outstanding Customer Service!

In my 37 years of life I had never met a courteous, knowledgable, honest, reliable, and affordable mechanic shop. Look no more; Bothwell Automotive in Torrance has it all! I am beyond grateful for the support I received from Todd, Peter and all the Bothwell team. They have a great team work and the process was smooth to get my car running like new. They are experts at what they do. Thank you!

New guy Peter is a poor/untruthful communicator and was rude/accusatory over the phone. I’ve taken my families vehicles here for over a decade. The service has been excellent and the prices have been fair but I won’t be returning entirely due to the dishonesty of Peter. Let this review reflect only him and not the whole company. I was told to make an appointment after specifically asking if a part had been ordered and being told yes. I made the appointment, brought in the car, and then received a call several hours later saying the part is on back order. I expressed my confusion over the phone after making the appointment purely based on the fact that I was told the part was on hand (because I do not live near the shop, I live over 100 miles away and was only bringing the car that far because I was told the part was already ordered). I was met on the phone with a rude and accusatory tone from the gentleman Peter and no apology for the inconvenience. I’ve experienced hints at this tone from him previously but brushed them off because of the quality of service and loyalty but this is a step too far for me. I was told by him that they had the part. We drive 400 miles just to take our vehicles to Bothwell. We spend out time in Phoenix, Lake Havasu, and Torrance. I don’t care if I have to have our vehicle towed 400 miles. We only trust Bothwell. They are also better priced than any other place. Tell me how many shops will top off your windshield fluid as a courtesy.

Strongly recommend! These guys are fair and honest and affordable. I had a recent engine issue. They took a look and told me the dealer could solve this and its most likely a recall. They were correct and didn't charge me a dime. I'm a repeat customer.
