Great service! Fixed my sick car up so that it runs Tip Top. Waved the diagnostic fees when I gave them the job. Friendly, informative, and expert.

They were fast and got the job done but I feel scammed and won't return. I came in for a tune-up. They advertised $39.99 diagnostic but I was charged $160; told me the $160 would be applied to my repair which was $860 (more than half was labor) and they only applied half of my diagnostic fee to my repair. Although I was told that it would be the full $160. They were having computer issues and said it would be applied when I returned to pick up the car; waited for me to return AFTER I get the repair to bait and switch me. To top it all off, my total (with tax) came to $777, I go to tap my card and the machine says $800... They don't tell you there's a 3% fee to pay with your debit/credit card. It's not posted, nor was it communicated otherwise, I would've paid cash. The whole experience left a poor impression. I forgot to mention after my diagnostic, they forgot to put my engine cover back on so I left and had to come back and get it.

Honest service, respectable people who care about their customers and their cars. I will use this shop no matter how far i am. Im coming all the way from San Jose for these guys service because of the trust i have for these guys. They have worked on my oil, battery, and will eb working on my 100,000 mile needs for my car as well. :)

This is hands down the best shop in the Sacramento area! It’s a locally owned business and the owner, as well as the staff are top-notch! They are friendly, honest and fair priced. I’ve taken both of my vehicles there, multiple times and they are always willing to go to the extra mile to make sure I understand exactly what is going on with my vehicle. I can’t recommend them enough and will continue to send everyone I know to their shop!

Here is another awesome review! My wife and I went in to grab a fresh oil fill-up for our 4-Runner. It has 170,000+ miles so it's getting up there. Asked Dave what the best flavor and type of oil would be needed and he didn't throw us the most expensive option but the best option. That was great! This business is honest, quick, clean and the employees are really cool. Dave ( in the pic) was funny and just a nice guy. Marcus chatted with us while checking out and he was a cool guy, too. All around, I would definitely use this Econo Lube N' Tune & Brake for everything automotive that they can handle because it's hard to find an honest place so there's no need to look elsewhere. Thanks everyone at Econo for doing a great job at a great price and fast! Customer for life.
