Came in based on last recommendation from the dealer for new breaks. Turns out I did not need them based on their assessment. While they had the car lifted, they also checked on a small oil leak I asked about and gave their opinion. So refreshing to have an honest mechanic giving sound advice. Will definitely be coming back.

The only person who gives a fair opinion at this repair shop is a Hispanic man. The Japanese owner and his wife of this shop are only interested in making money and don't care about their customers. I've been going there for years, but I've finally realized that these people are not good people. I will never go there again.

Hiro Auto Service is the most honest auto repair business you will likely ever find. They do not do heavy engine or transmission work, but are great for most other repairs. They will honestly tell you when/if your brakes should be replaced, whether your AT fluid or cabin filters really need replacement (the dealers will recommend these and other services long before they are necessary), and their rates are very reasonable. They are always busy, so you need to schedule maintenance well in advance.

Honest shop and very communicative. My 1997 Acura runs great thanks to their talented technicians. Despite my car being 27 years old and perhaps not very valuable, they still give it the same level of care and attention as newer vehicles. They are very punctual and run a tight schedule, so make sure you arrive for your appointment on time; the technician will be waiting for you.
