I never write reviews but Michael was exceptional so I wanted to write about my experience here!Michael was extremely thorough and has a very kind demeanor (something I haven’t encountered much with mechanics). His pre purchase inspection saved me from buying a car with lots of invisible issues that I couldn't tell from test driving it. No pressure to do any services at his shop and very transparent throughout the process. Price was very fair too, half of what others were charging, and no upselling to get work done at his shop specifically. He even looked up an estimate for the specific issue on the car to give me an idea of the cost of the repair all without pressuring me to have the fix done at his shop. Very professional and honest 10/10 service. I'll be back when I'm in the area again.

Mr Vladimir is an absolute and honest gentleman. We just completed our Mazda6 car inspection. He was sincere, honest and very helpful. Highly recommended place. Hidden gem.

The manager and technicians are incredibly skilled, honest, and diligent. You can trust their work completely - they know exactly what they’re doing and take pride in doing it right. What really impressed me was the depth of technical knowledge they shared. I’m going to start taking my cars here from now on. Mike was recommended to me by a friend who’s been taking his car here 12 years and said he’s very honest and does good work. A dealership told me I needed to spend $3600 on two repairs. I did not think I needed to do that so I asked Mike to look at it and he said I did not need to do that. I just needed to stay on top of my oil and add additive given that I have a high mileage car that has some seepage issues.

My 2018 Mazda cx-5 battery was showing signs of wearing down (had to jump start once.) After my car warranty was over, I did not see any benefit in going to dealership and getting fleeced with exorbitant charges. Instead I went to Independence Car Service based on recommendation from a friend who has been going there for the past 15 years. I was not disappointed. They were very honest and transparent in their communication from the very beginning. I've seen other services recommending thousands of dollars of repairs after an inspection. The battery replacement was taken care of without any fuss. I also asked for a Tire rotation service and they let me know that I can do that for free at America's Tire since I bought my tires from them. I was pleasantly surprised at such honesty. I know where I am going for any car repairs from now on.
